Donation and Aid Policy

Our Company, with sensitivity to social and environmental issues, may provide all kinds of donations and aid in order to support individuals in need during emergencies, to meet their material and moral needs, and thereby contribute to social and individual development.

Within the scope of this mission, all requests for assistance and support submitted to the Company—primarily from public institutions and organizations, as well as non-governmental organizations, foundations, and associations—are carefully evaluated. Donations and aid may be granted, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, to parties who duly declare and legally substantiate their financial needs, in accordance with the Company’s financial capacity and within the framework of the principles set forth in the Capital Markets Board regulations and the Turkish Commercial Code, taking into account applicable tax and other legal obligations.

All donations and aid are made in line with the Company’s vision, mission, and policies, as well as its ethical principles, values, and annual budget allocations. Donations and aid may be provided in both cash and in-kind forms.

The scope, amounts, beneficiaries, and any policy amendments related to all donations and aid made during the period are presented annually to investors and shareholders as a separate agenda item at the General Assembly.

If an upper limit is determined by the General Assembly, donations and payments made pursuant to a Board of Directors’ resolution are disclosed to the public in accordance with the Capital Markets Board’s regulations on public disclosure of material events.
